The town of Velika Gorica with its large network of pedestrian and bicycle paths, as well as all Turopolje from Posavina to Vukomeričke Gorice, is ideal for cycling and recreational enjoyment of families with children. In the area of the town, cyclists can enjoy in 35 kilometres of bike trails that stretch along the main road and the bypass, as well as in the direction towards Velika Mlaka.
We are pointing to two cycling routes where you can meet natural beauties, cultural - historical and ethnological values of Turopolje.

- Vukovina - Poljana Čička - Bukevje - Veleševec - Kuče
- Vukovina - Rakitovec - Buševec - Ključić Brdo - Lukavec
- Velika Gorica - Pleso - Velika Mlaka

- Pokupsko - Gladovec Pokupski - Strezojevo - Hotnja
- Pisarovina - Dvoranci - Bukovčak - Dubranec - Lukinić Brdo
- Donja Kupčina - Pisarovina - Dvoranci - Gradec Pokupski
- Kravarsko - Ključić Brdo - Kozjača - Donji Hruševec

Tour de Tur
On the occasion of Earth Day, "Healthy Spirit" Association organizes sports and recreational event Tour de Tur to promote cycling and healthy life.
The main event is the ride of children, youth, adults, cyclists, amateurs, recreationists through the town of Velika Gorica and Turopolje municipality. In this way, the organizers want to remind citizens that each of us can contribute to environmental conservation and the preservation of one’s own health driving the bike and showing that the bicycle is an excellent means of transportation for the town of Velika Gorica because in only a few minutes you can go from one part of the town to another.
