Legendfest
Legendfest takes place in the Old Town Lukavec, near Velika Gorica. It is inspired by well known festival of old folk tales, legends and myths in Istria. Here, visitors have a chance to have a good time finding out and learning about the customs of Turopolje and Zagreb County, their legends, stories and tradition. For two days, giants, dwarfs, witches, wizards, fairies, soldiers and the nobility walk around the walls of the castle and in the castle itself. In that way, numerous poets, narrators, performances, music and dances revive many legends in this historic castle.
Within the festival, Legends Fair is held, where almost forgotten crafts from the past are being displayed.
